Hellooo! I'm here to update! Before i update my version of the camp.. I shall upload some of the comm/members feedback on the camp. Kay first : Hello. :D Iris ask me to write about KCCO EOY Camp.Actually I dont know what to write..Nevermind, I think. COMM MEMBERS They worked very hard for this camp.Some of the comm members act until very good.Like: Jiajing, Yiting & etc.People say jokes Jiajing also never laugh. She can act well.Find her help next year again okay! Hahah.Thank you comm members for your everything. (: GAMES The games are not bad.Just that I find Pass the Ping Pong Ball & Snatch the Sweets game abit boring.No offence people. (: Maybe you all could improve on it? (:Murder Game, Trustwalk, Station Games. They're all okay okay.I think Murder Game was the most enjoyable one. Though it's just abit scary. MEMBERS Okay, I think alot of people wasn't enthu about this camp.I am also one of those who wasn't enthu.. :xAnd, during the Murder Game, some people were very rude..Its like, the comm members do so much for you all, then you all say them?Not all of the members say lah, only some.Its like if people go and say, walao your acting sucks la, waste my time here.You will feel hurt right?!If I am the comm member & people say that to me, seriously I'll scold that person like hell.You all never consider about how that person will feel, then you all say this.Its really very rude and mean. Okay, thats all.No offence okay? Im just blogging out whats my thoughts.. -Amanda- ________________________________________________________________ Hi people!Kcco eoy camp'08 is over!:(Well, its just 3 days and a night,but i hope all of you had fun. Maybe some of you didn`thave much fun and i think one of the reasons why you didn`t is because of your attitude towards the camp. Take for example: After we finish explaining each game,how many of you response when we ask,'Do you all understand?'?Ok, maybe the first day you all are not that enthu yetbut how about the second and third? Trustwalk. Some ofyou just took the stuff and disturb your friends walking on the table.Sorry if we didn`t tell you you`re not suppose tobut did we give you permission to take it?Wet games.Some of the committee has already ask you all to stop taking the water balloons and smashing it on yourfriends but you all didn`t listen and just continue.Station games.I heard that some of you cheated just because one particular station had too many groups.Do you think its theright thing to do?And some of you just jump to another grp.Did we arrange for you all to change grps? Lastly, the nightwalk. Some of you didn`t listen to instructions.You all are suppose to find the envelopes at each stationbut all you did was to interupt us when we tried to actso that you all get the whole story. Some of you even laughedat us for being so serious.Maybe our acting isn`t that good butcan`t you all just sit or stand and listen to us quietly?Thereason why we plan the nightwalk for you all is to let you alltake care of each other in a grp because its dark at night.I think you all just wasted your time laughing.Sorry if we didn`tmake you think its scary but at least respect the game andplay it properly?. The committee have spent 7-8 months to plan this eoy campfor you all but as we can see,some of you didn`t appreciateit.I think the best part of the whole camp was the third day with the angel and mortal exchanging session. I`m not trying to scold you all but just want to tell you allthat we plan this camp to let you all bond with each otherand get to know each other well.Especially when our concertis coming,we need support from each other so that we won`tbe nervous. I hope next year`s camp would be much better with yourbetter attitudes.Thanks for your attention:D Love ,yiting;D __________________________________________________________________ I feel that camp was quite successful and fun in some ways, like the station games, wet games, the angel and mortal and the warm fuzzies. But for the murder game was quite disappointing though, it was quite ruined. But we the committee spent like a lot of time planning it, and some people just come up to me and tell me it’s so boring when they themselves don’t even get a bit enthu into it. But I could see almost everyone talking and bonding with people they don’t really talk to (: I hope everyone had fun or at least some fun during the camp and practice harder for KCCO’s first concert (: Happy practicing and happy holidays! (: -Chanel- ___________________________________________________________________ End of year camp. Day one. Game 1: Ping-Pong ball game. Members were supposed to pass the ping pong ball with the spoons in their mouth. They couldn’t pass the ball with the spoons in their mouths so we allowed them to pass the ball with the spoons in their hand. Some members with no sportsmanship purposely drop the ball so they don’t need to scissors paper stone and do forfeit. Game 2: Sweets in the middle. Some people so kiasu take a lot of sweets and ate them before we could tell them what to do next. Game 3: Octopus. This game is very very very very very confusing. Some people didn’t understand so we have to repeat. Bonding session: Main objective is to bond, but it was very hard to bond with very little people in my group so we combined with other groups and played catching instead. Day 2. Game 1: Trustwalk. Yay finally something damn fun! :D I have to prevent the shaking bench from shaking but some people are just too heavy and the bench still shook. Lol. Siru finished the game and helped me to hold the bench but others who finished didn’t help out but instead sabo-ed other people. -.- After that some comm helped to clean up. We didn’t have enough things to scrub the flour off so I used my hand. More comm members came to help so I thought I wasn’t needed. Went to look at the next game after that. Game 2: Back to back. Some members in my group didn’t want to play this game but they played in the end because I forced them to play. Then they started laughing when they were playing. See I told you it was fun! Siru didn’t have any partner so I was her partner. Lol. Game 3: Hot/wet potato. The game was quite fun, but some people took a lot of water balloons and didn’t pass it because they wanted to throw at other people. Because of this, the people at the other end didn’t really get to play and the game became boring for them. Station games. My station was the “Silent game”. Members with no sportsmanship cheated. That’s not the main point of the game. The main point is to have fun and bond. How can you bond with people when you cheat? Never mind you’re destroying your fun. Murder game. Part 1: Instructions were not given properly, and FLS was talking to you all, so it was a failure. Part 2: However, we gave you a second chance. Some people were not with their groups. Heard that the “I lost my group” and “I’m having stomachache” excuses were planned. Hey, we planned this game for so many months and now you’re giving excuses to skip the game and bond with your best friends for life instead. Some groups came and started finding for clues and ignored the stationmasters. Yeah, we’re invisible. And there’s this group who went to my station and told us that they were in the wrong station after we finished acting. Lol! One group came and interrupted us when we were acting. Day 3: Nothing much except for dryrun. Perhaps we were too tired so our brains were slow, and forgot that we had to stand to prepare to go in the “stage”. Overall camp was 60% successful, without the sacarstic and the “I rather play with my BFFL” people/attitude. The committee planned and worked very hard for this camp. Although we complained because there were a lot of meetings, we still came and gave our best ideas and suggestions. It was quite a blow to us that murder game didn’t work out as we planned. It was our fault too that murder game didn’t go on smoothly because instructions wasn’t clear, and heard that FLS told the members that the game haven’t start. The games were abit boring, esp the first 2 games on day 1. Some station games were changed last minute and it was boring and fast (as said by a CO member). Perhaps this is why Xinyi&my station had more than 3 groups at 1 time. Cheating is also another reason why the game is boring. The members weren’t enthusiastic enough, and group leaders had to be high in order for them to bond. Some members weren’t with their groups also, but instead with their best friends, ignoring the fact that the camp is for them to bond with people they is unfamiliar with. There’s nothing else, I think. Kaywerlyn. ___________________________________________________________________ I was forced by Iris to type this. Haha, no lah, kidding J Anyway! KCCO Music Camp is finally over! Haha it was quite tiring for me cause didn’t get much sleep cause I was sneezing through the night. Hmm how did you all think about camp? For me it was quite fun, haha. My group, group 7, was quite okay (: Just that during the games it was quite confusing, esp the Murder Game. Lol. My group was supposed to be Black I think, but we were given a Pink envelope instead! And finding the clues at the semi-circle was SO DAMN DIFFICULT. I think my group was finding for maybe, ½ hour? Hahaa, we nearly gave up. But luckily the station people did tell us some clues, and we managed to find it UNDER A ROCK -.- Hmm as for the other games, I think it was quite alright. During the first few (wet) games during the 2nd day, (The one where we were blindfolded and the balloon game) It was quite boring :/ Haha yeah, because only a group at a time could play, and the rest of the groups had to wait. And it was really borrrrinnnnnnngggggggggg, by the time it was our turn to play, we were all really sian already. Yeap, so leaders, that’s one thing to take note! Maybe we can play games that involves many people (or everyone), or alternatively when 1 group is playing, the other groups can play other games. Yeap (: Oh and I think we should do more stuff together as a group! (I don’t mean everything) Sometimes you let us go in sections/our own friends then its like, not much interaction within the group. Yeap. Anyway! That’s allllllllll. Overall I rate it 7/10 okay? Cause I know the comm. put a lot of effort into this! It would have helped if you were more enthu and stuff. But nvm its over. Now, we have to concentrate on the concert! okay? 4 more pract, 10 more days! Till our big show! GO KCCO! Its just 10 more days! Then all your hard work will be paid off. :D yeah, and i hope you all can respect not only your comm, but also your seniors. Just because they are not a comm member doesn't mean you all should ignore their advice. They are your seniors, no matter what, you still need to show them some respect. okay bye! (:

Camp! KATONG CONVENT CHINESE ORCHESTRA '08 EOY CAMP! woots! Our annual year end camp is here again! YAY! Be excited. I expect most of you will be coming since consent forms were given long time ago!
